COVID-19 could mark the end of Toronto’s Airbnb era, and good riddance. Here’s how to keep it that way

I disagree with "good riddence" unless there is a better alternative. Airbnb supplied better living situations, in better locations for competitive prices with cheap motels.
Not like we can blame the rental and housing crisis on Airbnb. Hell no. That was happening already regardless, Airbnb just allowed younger folk to actually afford rentals during this shitty time.

Without Airbnb we have terrible alternatives. It's like uber all over again. Yes, I'd rather risk a percentage of my safety for these well cheaper prices than take a shitty over-priced taxi.

These services would've never have prospered if it wasn't for the already greed dominated overpriced markets
