COVID-19 Positive UI Student Details 'Awful Treatment by University

The university was expecting nobody to have it day one because they aren't even requiring testing. The stupidest part about this is the high number of people who get the virus but are asymptomatic. Think about it, how would they know they're asymptomatic unless they had a test? It's a really bad situation for others around those people in the dorms. There's no way we're not going to go fully online within a couple weeks and everyone knows it, but then here's the university yet again trying to rejustify taking our full priced tuition money when they're obviously unprepared for the situation. It's probably because they're losing so much money due to the football cancelation and other profitable programs the university normally has being shut down at the moment, causing the university to treat us how they really see us, like we're cash cows. The only real reason I could see for them not testing everyone and doing any of this is because they don't want to spend the money to actually ensure all the students are safe. Really classy stuff.
