COVID-19: Study says placing Wuhan under lockdown delayed spread by nearly 80%

TIL that I'm nobody, and that I've never taken a walk to the store just because I can (not because I have to).

(Of course, I walk to the store regularly during all other weather as well.)

(I was once married to a girl who was essential for health safety at nursing homes. They'd send a snow plow to pick her up. I've also been picked up by a patrol car to fix stuff for the sheriff's office. And during both of these kinds of events, I've always been willing to take a walk regardless of the challenge, be it heet, cold, flood, snow, or (I suppose) virus. YMMV, and many spend a lot of money to travel to do it, but meh: It's in my front yard and between me and it.)

(Though I recognize that my actions aren't typical in a suburban environment, I also recognize that this all also makes a likely plague-spreader -- and I'm not the only one of me out there.)
