COVID-19 vaccine could end the pandemic, but here's why millions of people plan to skip it.

This is a terribly scary time for a lot of the US and I can totally understand some folks’ hesitation on the vaccine but... being totally able to and actively choosing not to get one should come with consequences imo.

In my mind, if you’re able to receive this vaccine, offered one and choose not to take it you should be prepared to stay out of any / all public locations until herd immunity is reached.

Just like driving while drunk, there’s a point where your individualism can cause injury / death to an innocent third party through no fault of their own and at that point you need to be prepared to face the consequences of your actions.

But of course, this is the good ole US of A and almost nothing sensible has been done to either combat the pandemic or help / protect us citizens in any way shape or form. And quite frankly it’s unreasonable to tell people to stay home at this point.

I’m not sure what the point of this post was I guess, but try to keep food on the table and a roof over your heads until the vaccine is widely available.

Good luck out there comrades.
