Covid challenges, bad student behavior push teachers to limit, out the door

I'm hoping there are massive shortages which lead to job programs were pretty much anybody can be a teacher. Like if you have a degree in anything else they can just getyou a teaching certificate without any fuss.

I think that if you want to be a good teacher, especially right now, it's tough because there's a lot of training and the kids are little bastards.

If you want a job whereyou can just completely slack off at, it sounds perfect. I've known some teachers and I always ask them why they don't just show the kids videos and give them easy assignments just to get them through the class. Just teach them whatever stuff they need to learn to pass the state assessments, and who gives a shit after that.

I've always thought that teachers that don't give a s*** had the right idea.

I mean it's turning into a profession that you literally have to bring a gun to for protection. It's basically really dangerous babysitting, but if you treat it like that the job isn't too bad. Just run the clock everyday and live for the weekend.
