Hey guys, asking for some advice here. I booked a house with strict cancellation policy. However the airline changed our flight forcing us to arrive at 1am in the night. The host is unwilling to accommodate this change so we decided we will drive the entire way straight out of my wife's job (a 10hour drive). She can leave at the latest 1 30pm so we can be there around 11pm. However also with this plan the host is unwilling to meet us that late or leave the key in the front garden. What is the best I can do in this situation? I get the late time is inconvenient for all but I have the feeling I'm already stretching my options and trying to be accommodating.
