Vaccines protect against the delta 65% at best. the initial percentage of 96% for the pfizer was when there was no delta and most importantly when the virus wasn't spreading like it is now. The J&J results came later and the numbers already changed. Be it because the vaccine is different than the pfizer but mostly because the spread was by the time of the results already spreading much more than when pfizer did it.

Now the masks: you are completely wrong. N95 and KF94 do protect at 99%. Period. if everybody had those masks by the time covid was in the original form we could've stopped the pandemic in 2 months.

the vaccines are all a miracle, but they are not a cure. there is no cure for Covid. any vaccination program with number of vaccinated below 80% is not gonna work, the virus will continue to mutate until another vaccine will patch things up. as with the beta variant, now in France.
