Covid and stoicism

A few days before I got COVID I had received, through an app I have, this quote from Marcus Aurelius: "Strength and Honour".

I used to say: "Strength, so mom and dad don't be worried, in this honour. If not for them, then, strength so your friends don't worry and, in this, honour. If not for them, then, for everyone else; you still have work to do and, in this, honour."

In my worst day my chest was red, I was burning with fever and I was delusional, thinking I was involved with the umbrella academy. It was 5 in the morning, everyone sleeping and there I was, saying this and trying to make sure mom would not be scared.

Strength and honour, friend. Hope you get better.
