No one is asking you to live on fear, but there is a current danger present. Maybe not as much for you as others, but some people don't always have a choice but to go out.

Right before covid my parents moved away from where I'm living to a small town that doesn't have things like essential deliveries, and they're at a higher risk. If I wasn't available to drive down every single weekend and pick up all their essentials, they would forced to go and grab their items. Which is where people wearing a mask and trying to decrease spread is real fucking nice because I'd like to have a weekend at home.

So don't live fearfully for yourself, live cautiously for other people, because it's not always as black and white as immune compromised people staying home.
