Maybe it's just my group of "friends" (don't know that my wife and I consider most of them friends anymore since they've completely dismissed COVID since the start and we stopped hanging out with them) but the LGBTQ+ response here in OKC to COVID has been super disappointing. We've had probably 2 dozen LGBTQ+ friends catch it, many of whom spread it to their families and other friend groups because they've been partying and traveling together without masks for most of the last year.

We've turned down every offer to come to a cookout or house party or come out to the gay bars and my wife gets snaps later of fully packed bars and backyards, and then a bunch of them had the audacity to whine about catching COVID and having to quarantine.
