Oh this is the naivety of our government in action. Canadian leaders think people are all noble self-sacrificing individuals who will respect suggestions and act responsibly. No. The world is full of people that will act extremely selfishly, especially when faced with death.

This lady will be the first of many. If I'm sick and can enter Canada, why would I stay elsewhere if the healthcare system is not as good or not tax-funded? What is Canada going to do - make me tick a box at the airport kiosk? Apologize for being racist?

I mean just imagine if this person pulled that same behaviour in China. She'd wake up in a quarantine with her door welded shut.

I'm not saying we have to be like China, but we should definitely be less worried about hurt feelings and being called racist at this point in time.
