rant inbound I think your definition of animal cruelty differs from mine. Cruelty would be an animal suffering needlessly. Nothing, save for the entire mass extinction of the globe, will ever stop animals from eating other animals. So why do humans have to stop eating meat? We're apex predators. We can eat what ever the hell we want to. If you choose to go vegan, that is seriously good for you(no sarcasm intended), but for fucks sake quit demonizing people for being animals. For the record, no I'm not ok with slaughterhouses. I'd prefer my meat come from a source that treats their animal's well, lets them live a healthy life, and then executes them as humanely as humanly possible. I realize that is a pipe dream(at least until lab grown meat becomes commercially available), so for now I've been doing my best to eat less meat and I know for a fact there are still idiots who'll demonize me for eating meat at all. Seriously, if you think I'm evil for being a human, you're an idiot. I'm tired of all the circle jerking about being vegan. I'm also not trying to discourage people from being vegan... just for fucks sake quit being so uppity. You push people away from your cause by being obnoxious.
