A coworker tested positive for COVID

The problem with closing for 14 days is that no restaurant can afford to pay employees to stay home for 14 days, which means every time someone tests positive(this is gonna happen more and more) all employees lose a paycheck and the business will quickly run out of money paying overhead costs without revenue. Which will mean nobody will have a job. If a business is following strict mask requirements, social distancing and temperature checks/questionnaires, then the chance of transmission at work is very minimal. Therefore removing the sick employee and offering testing, while not fool proof, is the only way an employer can stay in business and employees have work. I would very much like to know of any better options that are financially feasible. Also, a restaurant isn’t required to notify the public of an employee testing positive, and tbh the way cases are trending, chances are EVERY restaurant/business will have had a positive employee.
