Cox or Fios? Also- cord cutting

I only have access to Cox at my current apartment, had Verizon at a prior apartment. I'd say FIOS is better than Cox. Just a personal preference, not much reasoning behind it....

I did 1 year at my current place with only internet and did the streaming option. I went through all of the different providers free trials and then paid at various times for DirectTvNow, Hulu Live Tv and Sling. I found it to be worth it because I was only paying $70-$80 for both internet and tv, but at year 2 my internet jumped up to $80(was $40 for year one) and I just got cable again last month. The streams you're watching are typically about a minute behind live tv, that was a bit frustrating at times... The best sports OTT provider is probably FuboTV? You can find streams online for free for most sporting events, that was how I watched the Nats last year. There are various reddits that provide the links.
