Normally people argue for POC to play POC characters because voice acting can be a very non-diverse bubble and so it seems unfair to deprive non-white people of possible opportunities, but we know CR are going to have an extremely diverse cast in every other possible way

So I haven't actually watched C1, but out of curiosity, how many POC characters were there? Obviously the main characters (and cast) are all white. I think I've heard that all of the guests in that campaign were white as well. How many recurring NPCs were POC? If Gilmore is one of only a few major POC roles I think casting a voice actor of color would be the right thing to do. Only casting POC as very minor characters while the main cast is entirely white would not do much to provide opportunities for voice actors of color or create an "extremely diverse cast."
