there are 4-6 core computer inside these list, and good mac too. ok the macbook air is a 2 core (would be better 4 core), but this is still the best if you want a small mac where you can do things like on the 15-17 inch, what you cannot do on ipad. so this is not a student or browsing mac (like a lot of people think), and i (and other too) would prefer to buy an air 4core instead of an ipad or other. Now i'm speaking about apple, since i own only that, but the same should be with windows. even if you are student, with the docs that you need (3 years of school requires at least 30-40gb of scanning doc, pdf, etc), plus 20-30gb in apps + 20 free per default and 20-30gb macos = 90-120gb miminum. 128 are too less (considering that 1tb ssd cost so less now too).
