it's crazy to think how many idols can mean so much to some people and nothing at all to others

Yes, but I think of it in a more darker way. Think about it, your bias can be the same one that ruined someone else. Maybe someone out there has completely destroyed their life due to their obsession with that specific idol?

I'm trying not to go off-track but I want to quote this lyric from Villain by Stella Jang, "The person you hate the most is somebody’s beloved child" Idols have so many haters and fans alike. If you flip the lyrics around, the idol that you dearly love is the same person that someone else hates. Isn't it scary, it's a matter of perspective. Maybe someone else sees them in a completely different light than you do. It's saddening when you see someone (wrongfully) hating on an idol and dragging them down, even if you don't stan them you know someone out there does.

Of course, this also applies to anything else, it does have to be limited to Kpop idols.
