“Oh. My. GAWD. IZZZZYYYY!” a high pitched, yet nasally female voice screeched in Isa’s ear, nearly deafening her. “LOOK at HIM! He’s so HOT!!!”

Isa winced and quickly dislodged the earbud from her ears, blinking in disorientation as a picture of a Korean boy band member suddenly popped onto the screen of her laptop. Silently, the European Asian woman cursed her friend for distracting her again. But despite her impulse to scold her friend through the video chat, Isa found her almond shaped eyes analyzing the image of the Korean male. Or at least, she hoped that it was a male, what with the eyeliner, eyeshadow and blush on its face. While Isa could understand the appreciation for slightly feminine men, she failed to see the appeal of just downright looking like a woman.

“Too feminine.” was the shorter woman’s monotonous reply after she replaced her earbud and dipped her head down to once again write notes for her class.

“You have no taste in men, Isa.” her friend, Alice tutted from the screen of the laptop.

Eyebrow twitching in annoyance, Isa glanced up with a bored expression. “We have different taste in men, you can’t judge me.”

Alice was a decently pretty Latino American, with a heart shaped face, thin eyebrows, a cute nose, large eyes, and full lips; the type of girl that most guys seemed to be infatuated with, but she was cursed with an attraction to Asian men in boy bands. The Latina scrunched her face in disgust as she recalled Isa’s preference in men. “Egh… I don’t get how you can like a guy so… hairy.”

Isa’s bored expression grew impatient and annoyed. “I like my guys normal and guy-like.”

“Hairy.” Alice reaffirmed with a stubborn nod.
