So I am heading the development of and teaching a brand new mechatronics course that will span 3 years (from 10 - 12 grade). The student size per year should be about 8 students per half day (dual enrollment). I have a 200K startup budget and I am already trying to get a collaborative robot and working hard on it being a Universal Robot UR10. Aside from the obvious stuff, what kind of stuff should I include in the course? This will be very heavy in hands-on training and A LOT of diagnostics and troubleshooting (that is my background) of both electrical/electronic and mechanical systems.
