Ofc, Athene did it against Sparta.

Technically, yes, you just have a bunch of super advanced submarines, or you have space control above the sky, but on a serious note. No.

Similar question, can you have air superiority without runways/airfields? Without ground to land on? Yeah, technically yes but...

My answer was, that the PLAN is nowhere near the level of the US Navy (yet). I did not try to say that 20-30% of USN would demolish the PLAN that is backed up with all their missiles and air assets in their EEZ supported by everything China has. Trust me, the US Navy would not go there. Would the US Navy be the only force sending airplanes in this scenario? Ofc not, US Air Force bases can be found along the first second and third island chains. US allies can be found in the vicinity as well. Would that be enough to "crush through the Chinese Navy and start a land operation against the PLA? I have no idea at all, but probably I would say no. It goes beyond the original question, but to take down China in a conventional war you would need pretty much everyone onboard and even then, lengthy preparations and we would probably end up with more dead then the public can stomach. But, if you would have an alliance like that, ready to invade, you wouldnt even need to anymore probably. We would be back to blockading and maybe missile striking.
