Why is cricket so poorly marketed on youtube?

I know the digital/streaming rights for cricket are a mess. They seem to sell them off to different broadcasters in different regions, which means nobody can make videos available internationally. Even the ICC doesn’t retain all digital rights in all regions so sometimes they can’t even post stuff. Not to mention every tournament is different, so there’s no consistency.

Contrast that with F1. A few years ago they were the same, their digital and streaming rights were a mess. Couldn’t find highlights on YouTube, Twitter, even streamable/Reddit links would get taken down super quickly. Then there was a change in ownership to a media company - now there’s great highlights all over social media and YouTube, there’s a super popular Netflix show and F1 is growing in popularity all over the world. Cricket needs to take a leaf from their book.
