I thought this whole issue had been settled with FB Messi honestly. It was the same story, card was announced, everybody scoffed at it because of the underwhelming stats, then the reviews came in and it turned out he was glitchy AF. The prevailing consensus was that, despite being overpriced, there is clearly more to a player than the numbers.

This also made sense as a way for EA to address the power creep issue this year. Make unique animations and other attributes more important.

But here we are having the same conversation about this Ronaldo card. The composure alone should be a clue. I think gold Renato also makes a strong case for this argument, many players in this game just feel different despite what the numbers are telling you.

The links are an issue though, and are what make this card seem way overpriced.
