I'm in the same boat-- I found out yesterday that I was not selected as a semifinalist for CLS. Sucks because this was my last year of eligibility and I thought my application was excellent, but I didn't even make it past the first round of cuts lmao. I still feel okay about my Fulbright ETA app however (maybe not confident, but okay), because the acceptance rate is more favorable. Apparently CLS accepts less than 10% of total applicants, whereas my Fulbright country accepts closer to 25%. Check those stats out here. I would definitely encourage you to apply for CLS again and Fulbright next year.
