Criticism

Your hot take that every individual needs to independently apply the scientific method to every concept is a steaming load. If every single human was forced to take the time to derive even 1% of the scientific principles that impact our lives every day before using them, you'd be 30 before you were allowed to wear modern shoes. Except you'd probably have died already. Humanity only advanced because we didn't waste all of our time repeating the work of others. That's why we developed standards in academia to ensure that everyone's work is reproducible without checking it 7billion times. Sure, it's not perfect and we still get things wrong, sometimes it takes a long time to fix. But it is by far the best system we have and you can take your anti-intellectualism and shove it. People exist that know more than you about certain topics. Get over it.
