Criticize my 8wo Puppy Schedule

I agree with both of the other commenters here. I personally think you're going to have a very hard time getting a pup that young to train for all those periods set aside. I always try to make training spontaneous during play sessions and keep them fun. If even 2 minutes into the session, and the pup is not able to focus, I'd end training on a positive note and let her go back to playing. Sometimes you can get a lot out of them, and other times if you push it the pup might shut down and ignore you. Always end it if you or your pup are getting frustrated, training should be fun for the both of you. Have you set aside time for introducing new stimuli in safe environments? Can you leash up your pup and go for a quick car ride without fuss? Can you sit near an area with mild traffic and keep him/her relaxed? Do other people walking by make your pup nervous? Those are the things I was most concerned about. We still work on new situations every day. I've been spending time making my pup more accustomed to everyday life. Be a little creative with the stuff you do. It sounds weird, but one afternoon I spent a whole 10-15 minutes splashing water out of a kiddy pool and treating her for focusing on me and not worrying about the water. At one point my pup was nervous about fallen fruit from trees sitting on the ground, she would bark at it and back away. I spent time rolling the fruit around gently and walking by it until she felt comfortable to join in. We'll be working on windshield wipers soon, since those are spooky too, and we didn't know they spooked her either until we had to drive in the rain. Right now is the best time to introduce those things. It's a lot easier to deal with them now than when she's older. I spent a lot of time working with our older adopted dog because he had a lot of reactivity when we got him from not being socialized, he still gets spooked sometimes. With a puppy, it is so much easier.
