I mostly stick to nonfiction books – stuff like Nudge, or Moneyball, or Freakonomics, or Thinking, Fast and Slow. When I do read fiction, I generally prefer short stories. Poe, Doyle, and Kafka are all favorites in that category.
My favorite TV genre is definitely comedy – a list of my favorite shows would have to include Arrested Development, Bojack Horseman, Bob’s Burgers, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Spotify likes to recommend me a lot of hip-hop music, so I guess that’s a good place to start as far as my taste goes. That said, I at least dabble in a little bit of everything. My interests run the gamut from Outkast to Kygo to Carly Rae Jepsen to Aoife O’Donovan. There’s no genre that I just unilaterally don’t like, though I don't really spend a lot of time listening to country or metal.
I’m pretty sure I’m more ramen than human at this point. My diet consists primarily of the worst kind of junk food. I wholeheartedly expect to die of malnutrition any day now. Really, I only have experience with what most of my friends would refer to “bland-ass generic white people food”, and I should probably get out of my comfort zone a little more in that regard.
