Crohns and arthritis

Okay, I feel ya. I get arthritis (The A-Word) in back and hips (and more) like hell, have had quite the struggle learning to control it. Steroids make me crazy and that shit's bad for you over time anyway, so I'll tell you what works for me.

Pure water, lots of it. I generally eat rather ketogenic, as carbs seem to trigger the pain if I have too many, but dehydration is the real enemy there. If your water is not pure, it will leave things in your body to complain about instead of simply carrying the toxins out. Stay as alkaline as you can, acids will cause you pain. Try and see. I've had so much of this Personal Science, I could scream, but I am able to function most days and am even dancing this year, I'm so newly brave. But water is not the only key....

Cannabis oil has changed my life in the past couple of years, transforming it even. Smoking always helped, this I knew, but coconut cannabis oil makes me feel almost normal, most days. Made from trim, it won't fuck you up too much-- and if I dose it carefully, it gives me the energy Crohn's likes to steal so much.

Then there's the exercise. You need some to go with the water to stir toxins up and shed them again. If you are overweight, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW. That fat is filled with the toxins that cause the pain. I've had a helluva struggle over 4 years to drop 100 lbs and be able to, oh, dance. 4 years ago, I needed a walker. o_o

I'm not a doctor, but I've dealt with more than most could, this I know. To have a new shot at life, as I now do...I hope it helps you, too. Don't wait for your 40s to get a handle on it.
