Crossbow machine guns in Vikings show

Well, okay. To delve into a little more detail for you...

While in the SCA, I only participated in local events. Most of which involved the "sword and shield" and I was just shit there, honestly.

But I liked archery, despite never having picked up a bow or arrow until my 21st year. So I basically, impulsably, bought a 6'4"longbow. I figured, if I actually enjoyed this, and if I became good at it, and if I wanted to one day hunt with skill, I should do so in a manner that made it fair to whatever rabbit or animal I caught with this skill. (Still is. While I no longer have that bow, or any bow, I still think this way. When I go fishing, I do eat what I catch.)

Compound bows do not interest me. With their counter balance and fiber optic sights, I always felt that they were almost as easy as shooting a rifle. So. No thank you.

If you are my target, a deer or a turkey or a rabbit. Maybe it's just me but I would prefer that and just playing the ground as equal slash common as possible.
