I just disagree. One event is something that every person who CAN and has a desire to compete will attend. Not every AM in the US can make every event so those numbers fluctuate. I get that there’s not much to grind for but if that’s the case why should they give support to EU tho just cuz a select few want it them to? As a general statement it is assumed that EU is primarily a PC oriented region that’s why they’re dominant in Popular PC games like DOTA and CSGO. I brought up the sales because at the floor the more sales in one region the more potential competitors there are so it would make sense to host more in NA by that reason alone, there are other reasons aforementioned. I would be very welcoming of more EU events but not if it takes from NA which it’s ACTIVISION we’re talking about here and we’re already on a limited LAN schedule so the chances are more EU events means less NA ones and I would rather not take the chance on the off hand chance that it helps grow EU while killing off NA in the process.
