Crumbzz Apex new coach

Hey i was joking about you being an idiot. Just felt like getting some hate over the presentation of my previous post instead of the actual content behind it.

Anyways, my point still stands. It's hard to properly compare NBA coaches to current LCS coaches because the NBA coaches have a much stronger understanding of basketball strategies and theories as opposed to their younger, more athletic players on their roster. The difference between someone like Crumbz coaching a player like Diamondprox is that they're both veterans of LoL with Prox having achieved more success due to a stronger intuitive sense of game theory and strategy (and being more mechanically gifted). Now if League still exists 10 years or so from now, then the comparisons between the two sports can begin formulating. Like I said, the main difference is the relative age between the two. This is why a team like Origen can get so far without having the traditional coaching infrastructure in place. Essentially, it's largely a player-coach game for the time being. The closest thing to a coach that can be compared would be SKT Kkoma because of his years in the Starcraft scene but even then, he can only translate relevant video game elements into League strategy while being a disciplinarian and other things.

This is not to say that Crumbz is a useless coach. He offers an outsider's perspective which is invaluable since it offers a more unbiased opinion of how something could have been done better given the situation the team was in. Then they can, in theory, build upon that. Plus, he was an LCS pro so he clearly knows the game.
