Crunchyroll to dub and release Gintama on Blu-ray/DVD

It is true that quite a few VA's use FUNimation to build up résumé's (NateWantstoBattle, ScrewAttack,RWBY & other Internet folks you see around, +Media Blasters & other folks based in LA - there's an amateur community if you pay attention), because they are fans of anime. This makes me happy :) Seeing as anime seems to be niche even among actors.

But, even in LA, it isnt as if the dubs pay anything livable. No, the reason that Kyle Hebert, Troy Baker+the Bailey-Willinghams, Natalie Hoover, Ashly Burch, Dameon Clarke, etc., moved to LA is obviously to do "proper" animation, & video games+big commercials.

  • However, I have to point out that the reason that even somewhat established Texas VA's dont move to LA...is because they dont need to. Texas is a lot cheaper to live in than LA, & the skill level required to compete there (I mean, including commercials & games) is very little compared to LA/Hollywood. You can make a decent living more easily if the standards are set so low.
