Right now Paradox is taking a major reputation dive. Their DLC policy is borderline criminal. Stellaris is a constant disaster (a community I follow more than the others... the game has fundamental playability and performance flaws that PDS refuses to address after several major releases of content, along with an aging engine that falls on its face constantly). Imperator was a complete mess (although yes... they're patching it, and I'm sure $200 in DLC will fix it). The Stellaris mobile spinoff was a worthless cash grab with absolutely no creative merit (and was almost a lawsuit). They just massively reworked modding and launchers, screwing over just about everyone (although we're recovering).

CK3, so far, actually looks really good. I hate that I love their games, because I am not a fan of their business.
