Crusty translation?

I think the majority of Shock have been a little salty about how they were treated this year. It’s weird it’s like they were being underrated after a shaky start post Season 2 but people would also call them overrated.

It felt like none of them were seriously considered for MVP or ROTY. I’m happy with Fleta and Alarm winning, I think they deserved it but it never felt like Shock players were even in second or third despite performing really well consistently. I think this is partially because Crusty utilized the roster so well that he wasn’t afraid to sub out star players after strong performances for who he thought was best.

Then you have the Shock being glossed over for role stars. Is it insane to anyone else that Smurf wasn’t a Tank Role Star??? The man is number one on nearly every stat for Winston and performed well on every hero this season. I’m glad Striker got Grand Finals MVP because he really hasn’t gotten the credit he deserves for this year. I get he was subbed out occasionally but Sp9rk1e also won a role star despite being in a similar situation of play time.

Honestly, Crusty should’ve won coach of the year. Yeah the narrative for Shanghai was great and I think Moon is a great coach but Crusty was just all around better. Especially with how Crusty utilized the roster. It feels like people are sick of Shock winning and don’t want to give them the credit they deserve a lot.
