[US,CT] Doctor has been lying to me about frequency of visits, worried he might be scamming people for more insurance money

You think it isn't critical for a psychiatrist to know the laws regarding prescriptions of controlled substances? What are you going to tell me next, that it's not critical for you to understand HIPAA? I doubt the DEA would agree with that if a psychiatrist found themselves in hot water for over prescribing adderall without following the law.

Also it appears federal law sets no requirements as far as that's concerned. The DEA's website says that's up to each state to determine. They have other rules but it appears nothing about frequency of office visits. Could be wrong but that's what I've found so far.

Explain to me how I'm entitled. Please. You can say I'm wrong, that's fine. I admitted in my original post I don't know how this works. That's why I'm asking in the first place... You sound like a shitty doctor if you're this dismissive of people's legitimate questions in your work.
