You are asserting with no evidence that the standard position among social democrats is to create something like the Soviet Union. Almost all of what you’re saying - which is pretty much just the standard Cold War anti-Communist rhetoric relying on conflating anything left of modern laissez-faire capitalism with the Soviet Union - makes no sense unless you think that many or most social democrats actually want to create something like the Soviet Union. For a hypothetical reader who might think like a social democrat who does not want that, but instead wants something like what is practiced in many countries run by social democrats, what can you possibly say to that?
