Curious as to why so many 18 year olds are getting tossed from parent's house on short notice (per numerous posts here) - advice here too

I just want to point out that I'm dismissive about the number, not about what a tragedy it is for parents to disown their kids like that. I don't know why me questioning a statistic like that invokes that reaction in people.

25% of teens are addicted to illicit substances which is known to cause homelessness and you think that number is smaller than 8% of the LGBT teen community that gets kicked out? Then add in the amount of people that get abused, have skitophrenia and can't be taken care of, and the myriad of other reasons for homelessness, that's as much as a fraction of 8%?
