i worked as a VR porn cinematographer for 4 years. did a big ama for it over a year ago. anyways i directed a few scenes as well and while there werent any funny failed cuts, there were a LOT of funny things occuring on set.

heres one story. our crew flew to japan for a 2 week shoot and we brought with us all these expensive custom made VR rigs that were not replacement back home much less in japan where we didnt speak the language. so on day one we were setting up everything and i hear my camera assistant shout "OH NO OH NO! OH GOD NOOOO!!!" and both me and my producer freaked out thinking something broke. we ran to him to see whats up and well. on the first hour of the first day, of a 12 day shoot, in a foreign land in front japanese pornstars, the dude squat down to set up the camera rig and rip his pants right wide open. like balls to ass whole crotch wide open.

my producer proceeded to spend 30 minutes sewing his pants bck together while he walked around setting up the rigs and lights in a hotel bathrobe.
