Current state of prostitution in Seoul

I’m in Seoul. My mother worked in a camptown back in the late 80s/early 90s. I’m not wrong as I have a personal connection to this shit as Halfies like me in the past mind you were stigmatized because of the assumption our mothers were 양공주. Some half Koreans mothers did work in the sex industry. So it’s a stigma we carry. I’m not making this stuff either. Read sociological research done on camptowns. These issues however are not as severe or extreme as they were in the past. But there still instances of women being trafficked into the sex trade in those areas although generally speaking there is less economic incentive than the 80s when Korea was still developing. The korean government has been cracking down on prostitution for the past 20 years due to its bad reputation abroad, and also in its efforts to gentrify former red light districts. Yongsan and Itaewon are such examples of this gentrification. All I see from you is a bunch of gaslighting.
