The current surface analysis for the Eastern Central portion of the USA, as of 11:55a CDT. I noticed there's no apps out there that have reliable/updated surface analysis and/or frontal maps anymore. So I used the Windy App to get the data I needed and used Markup to add the rest

I think that data was already monetized, the middle-of-the-road plan I was planning on buying from them was $400/month for the data package. I built my whole weather app specifically planning to use that dataset, and when I went to pay for it last April or something it was gone. And then only after that did they put up the "fill out this form and wait for us to call you" thing. Then weeks later they call you and quote something like $3,500 for the same-ish data packages.

I said noooo thanks and now my Android app uses NOAA data only, from FTP sites, API calls etc but I can't get all the same things WU used to offer! Ugh. And it's US-only instead of international because I can't afford the international packages on most sites, especially IBMs!
