Custom Urgot Champion Card

Urgot respects those who are strong and fight for themselves, so if you play around him and dont let him transform, his base champion form will stay pretty manageable

So there were a few main concepts I wanted to cover in the design of an Urgot card, and that is as many of his abilities as I reeally could fit, and his methodology of purging the weak

Urgots statline and use of double attack is supposed to represent how Urgot is a bit of a beefy man, but also how he attacks for very little damage but in quick succession with his W, purge, which lets him go full machine gun mode

His ability then is there to imitate his shotgun knees, as whenever Urgot stikes, his shotguns pop off and blast around him.

I took this step to then place how it would be best if his shotguns hit enemies that were not in combat (the ones on the player bench) as they are the ones standing "behind" the enemies you hit, as well as them being the "weak" enemies

Because Urgot lore wise goes on the idea that the strong survive and the weak must be cleared out, so those who fight and prove themselves are safe, but those who cower in fear are punished

Double attack also lets an unblocked Urgot get off multiple blasts, which matches his gameplay as he often aims to use his shotguns many times.

You can safely "prove" yourself by simply blocking him, though chump blocking wont get rid of him quickly due to his ability to kill small units with ease

If for whatever reason he manages to get through, his level up is what turns him into a true terror.

Overwhelm allows him to finally crush those in his path and constantly take down any small units that may hit the table.

He is hard to level up, but he grants a heft reward in board presence if you let him in with consistent AOE every turn.

He also grants you his fear beyond death, which simply obliterates an enemy. Normally people try and bring the fear or execute aspect of this ability into the card, but the purpose here is to put fear into the opposing player

The constant dread of any unit you play potentially being sent to the shadow realm is what truly makes his level up a terror

Finally his champion card represents his E, disdain, where he shields himself and flips an enemy over him in game, in this he does the same, shielding himself and forcing them into combat

Urgot respects those who are strong and fight for themselves, so if you play around him and dont let him transform, his base champion form will stay pretty managable

Just don't show your weakness to him and let him get a swing in, or he will take you down as you he sees fit.
