Cutting ties with liberal friends.

Those that allow the media, no matter what side they are on, to spoon feed them their opinions are the problem. I was a life long liberal until my early to mid 30's. I'm probably still somewhat of a traditional liberal. But with where the left has taken the liberal base, I find myself firmly right of center now. I'm not a true supporter of any politician, I vote on policies I believe are better for the future of the average American with zero consideration for what they represent at face value. Unfortunately we live in a society that judges politicians more at face value than anything else. And as someone who makes most of my money in the markets, both domestic and international, I tend think about a lot of things like we just discussed in terms of reality.

Politics should be like they were almost my entire life, not a topic that was a part of every day life. They should be something we either agree on or we agree to disagree on. Unfortunately we live in a time where the media chooses to divide us over political opinions because it makes them money. If you don't buy into what they're selling you'll be much happier in life. Most of my friends and family are liberals and it doesn't affect our relationships at all.
