Cuz sometimes a Stallion just wants to play ball

Happy cake day!

I had a similar experience, but with a different type of horse. I got a job as a hand at a working dude ranch called the Double E, and they had a line of quarterhorses bred with the local Mexican mustangs.

Riding a Friesian is like driving a muscle car, but these little mongrel quarterhorse-mustangs were like driving a street racer. They could navigate slopes like mountain goats, turned on a dime, and had jackrabbit acceleration.

Also, they fucking hated cows, which was funny as hell to me. My primary horse, Sundance, loved nothing more than trying to get a big ole' bite of any unfortunate moodeer within reach of his teeth. I knew that one day, if I ever got my wish, I'd own a couple of those temperamental little bastards. Most fun horses I've ever been around.
