Jimmy Carter banned iranian immigration, nobody called him racist. And you're forgetting that 91% of all muslims think they should be able to beat their wives. Look at some of these quotes:

Sheikh Al-Sudais receives favorable coverage in the non-islamic world for condemning terrorism on his trips to europe, but then preaches from his home pulpit that the jews are “killers of prophets and the scum of the earth,” “monkeys and pigs and worshipers of tyrants,” and of “a continuous lineage of meanness, cunning, obstinacy, tyranny, evil and corruption.” He is also quoted as saying “You have revived the hopes of this nation through your blessed jihad [...] Our hearts are with you, our prayers are dedicated to you. The islamic nation will not spare money or effort in support of your cause, which is the supreme Muslim cause” when talking about Palestinian suicide bombers. He then later calls US forces “oppressors” and preaches that they “rape our riches.” This is all coming from the most respected imam in both the muslim and western worlds.

Perhaps another story

Iqraa, a joint Saudi-Egyptian satellite network that aims to highlight a “true and tolerant picture of islam,” to refute “the accusations directed against Islam,” and to open “channels of cultural communication with the cultures of other nations.” On this TV station they ask a three and a half year old on stage and asks her what jews are. When she responds that they were “apes and pigs,” the station praises her saying “No [parents] could wish for Allah to give them a more believing girl than she, May Allah bless her, her father and mother. The next generation of children must be true Muslims.”

I see nothing wrong with preventing these people from immigrating
