Cyclist vs driver road rage at Bloor and Ossington

if it's that bad, you take down the license plate, and you call 911

The thing about this is the police dont care and wont care and its’s unfortunate, but people know this and it’s often why we see people escalate into hitting vehicles.

Neither of the two individuals in question behaved ethically here. Regardless of how it started, there are a number of ways this could have worked out positively: one party allowing the other to go on their way and letting it go being the ideal outcome.

However, as you’ve pointed out we don’t know the circumstances leading up to the altercation, so it is not for me to point blame on anyone. You may well be correct that the cyclist was in the wrong.

Being vulnerable compared to the car isn’t any reason to escalate things. The bottom line with things like this that people often fail to grasp in the moment is you do not know what the other pwrson is capable of. Escalating things is an open invitation to make things considerably worse.
