Cyclists say they're being targeted by 'mantraps', as thumbtacks dropped along popular routes

This is where driver education needs to be improved. Many people probably get annoyed at cyclists not obeying imaginary laws. Its like drivers deliberately blocking motorbikes from filtering due to ego and not knowing the law.

Only in WA does 20kmh under apply, to freeways only. The rest of Aus abides by any vehicle not causing an obstruction. NRMA give the example of going 20kmh in a 80 zone. Given you're allowed overtake cyclists on double white lines on a single lane road, this is an exaggerated issue.

Cyclists also need to ride with common sense and with self preservation in mind, and everyone needs to be more courteous to other road users.

Remember, 1000 bike riders = 1000 less cars on the road.
