I’d like to install an electronic start on my outboard motor. I think I may be able to do it on my own with a bit of guidance. Is this easy enough to DIY or should I hire it out?

I’m 36 and I just won an international race last May. I just can’t pull the cord. I race three different types of boats weekly, I have no problem with any other function, I just don’t seem to have luck with any pull starts, mowers or otherwise. I appreciate your advice, but did you really need to question my overall abilities because I struggle with something that I can easily change to suit me? It’s difficult to be a woman who participates in male dominated sports, but it doesn’t stop me and that’s what counts. I live on a lake and I feel pretty sure that these big fat dudes who have electronically lowered engines and couldn’t manually lower anything if it happened to short out without having a heart attack. But thanks.
