Hi

I'm very new to styling, so much so that I often don't put any products nor blow dry my hair since I haven't got the slightest clue of what I'm doing. Any assistance would be much appreciated, thanks.

Firstly, I wish to know what my face shape is. I've done various quizzes and guides on the web, but the results vary (oblong, oval, heart and triangle). The pictures included shows me smiling and me being neutral (smiling slightly changes the shape of my face?)

Secondly, although I'm not looking to cut my hair any time soon, I really want to know what kind of cuts would suit me for when I do decide to go to the barber/salon (I have no preference on kind of cuts nor length). Also, guides and tips on how to style the recommended cuts would help immensely since I really have no idea.

Lastly, where should I be parting my hair? The photos show two hairline parts, one closer to the middle, one further away. I’m so indecisive, do I even suit hairline parts?

• First lot of pictures are of my hair with no products side and back pictures included
• Second lot is of me actually making an effort to style my hair, the hair is also brought back so it may help in discerning my face shape
• Notice the wick on the back of my head on the third lot of pictures, someone’s called a duck's tail once pictures of the wick with 2 shorter hair lengths provided
• The last lot of pictures are with my hair part further away from the middle, does my hair look better with hairline here or in the first lot of pictures?
