I remember my parents disapproved of all of my gfs. God knows they’d disapprove of my bfs. They pretended to like them but it was transparent they didn’t. Whenever things got mildly rocky or we split, they’d rant at me about how fucking awful they were and how I have bad taste in women. One time I was chilling at a gf’s place and my mom called and asked where I was, I said I was at my gf’s and my mom found her house, came over, and forced me to come home while calling my gf a used rag, a slut, and a bad influence. We broke up immediately after. She hated everyone I ever interacted with and sheltered me and wonders why I have no social skills and am afraid to look ppl in the eye and have no intimate relationships anymore.
