Yep, if you carry on talking like that you’re going back.

You’re contradicting your feelings, knowing it’s wrong but saying it’s right. You know that doesn’t make sense.

You also keep saying he ‘always’ did this and he ‘always’ did that. He didn’t always do anything did he? You can’t say someone always does something when you’ve only spoken to them for a short period. You have no idea how he talks to you after a hard day at work or when he’s getting the attention he craves from his wife.

The fact you haven’t seen his face just makes this so much harder. I’ve been there, the mystery, needing to know more. Trust me when you find out the truth you’d wish you hadn’t asked.
