Dads of Reddit... What's your best "don't tell your mother about this" moment?

Obligatory not a father, but the son story. About 16 years old and just home from school, my dad soon arrives home and had taken the rest of the day off work (fairly usual occurance as his company was lenient) and says he has an idea. We hop in his van and drive to the capital (about an hours drive) to see someone he knows. We get there and some guy has a motorbike ready and my dad asks what I think, looks good to me and he buys it then and there, loads it into the van and takes me to another guy he knows, without hesitating at all he buys me full motorbike gear, helmet, gloves and boots and we're off home. We arrive home late in the evening and my mom was already there, she naturally comes out into the drive and asks about the motorbike (not an uncommon sight around our household, my dad got 1st in country and had a podium finish for an all european enduro championship for his class back in the day, been riding off-road for over 35 years) and as my dad had explained on the way home he tells my mum the bike is one he bought for himself to mess around on. Next evening she isn't home and we head up the moutain behind our house (convenient, right? Yeah it wasn't a coincidence my parents bought this house) amd he teaches me how to ride etc. We get home and my mum is there, and it's fairly obvious what i've been up to, dressed in full motorbike gear with my hair messed up from the helmet and me covered in sweat and absolutely exhausted ( a lot more physically demanding than i thought it would be) and our rouse is up. It didn't take her long to warm up to the idea, and an all round fairly cool dad move too.
